One day I met one of my neighbours while I was walking in my park.At the moment he was crying and I asked for the reason behind his sadness.Then he said that one of his good friends died in an accident and that was the reason behind his tears.I felt sorry for him and I went ahead to request permission in order to sit beside him.Even we were neighbors, we did not get a chance to talk before and I thought that this would be a great opportunity for us to get to know each other well.After sitting down, I tried my best to convince him about life.I told him that I have lost some of my best friends before and I know exactly how he felt, I encouraged him to be strong.Then I said that he feels like this because he is a caterpillar.At a glance he did not understand what I said and he wanted to know the meaning.From the gained opportunity, I took the chance and went ahead to explain what I said.Most of us and even the caterpillars think that they have died, because there is a wrapping material around them in the early stages of their life which is call metamorphosis.The caterpillar does not know about this cocoon, naturally, they starts to think that he is buried inside something and thought it was died.But when he is about to open the cocoon, the caterpillar will NO longer be inside.After sometime, that little caterpillar miraculously became a beautiful butterfly.Ironically, the other little caterpillars lying on the ground cannot see the beautiful butterflies above them.After the escape from the cocoon, that little caterpillar gets his freedom because he can fly wherever he wants, and has got less legs to worry and a pair of beautiful wings to fly.At the end of my story, he was a bit convinced and I went ahead explaining the reason behind my story.It is not for us to decide when somebody becomes a butterfly.It is up to the God to control all things in the world.Right now it's raining but you want it to be sunny, but God has a different plan.We cannot decide when a person should leave this world.When we stay as caterpillars, we did not get the feeling about the existence of a butterfly, we don't even know that butterfly exist.Sometimes, being a mere caterpillar, we just need to learn to have faith and trust that God has a better plan of us.After my convincing story, he was okay and he thanked me a lot, realizing that his friend is now a butterfly.This post is dedicated to all who had lost someone whom they've held on so dearly.Thank you for reading.
